BUR (Built Up Roof membrane)
Built up bituminous primary membranes may be comprised of three or four plies of organic or inorganic felt adhered with interplay applications of hot bitumen. The bitumen used to adhere built-up roofing membranes maybe roofing asphalt, or polymer modified asphalt. Asphalt is the most common bitumen used in Alberta.
